Nikki Levine is a writer and superstitionist who prefers trash to mediocrity. She hails from the part of New Jersey in which passersby hold their noses, but now writes fictions and near-fictions in Portland, OR. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from Portland State University, works as a technical writer and editor, collects carpeted purses, and occasionally teaches writing.

Nikki's words appear in Joyland, Tin House's Flash Friday, Personal Best, the anthology Without a Net: The Female Experience of Growing Up Working Class, and various other publications.

Her tarot life path card is The Chariot, but her favorite is Temperance.
